At the newly opened Cajou Creamery, a plant-based creamery and cafe located at 411 N. Howard Street in Baltimore, you can enjoy innovative flavors of good-for-you cashew milk ice cream made from scratch. Here, ice cream is dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy free. Each flavor is carefully curated by the creamery’s executive chef and inspired by flavors across the globe. Ice cream flavors on the menu include Sweet Potato Pie, Mexican Cacao, Cheesecake, Baklava, Cortadito, Horchato, and more. Every dessert is made with high-quality, whole superfoods from plants, like green cardamom, Saigon cinnamon, organic wild blueberries, and much more. Along with serving tasty, fun, and healthy dessert options, Cajou’s mission is to provide training and workforce opportunities to citizens returning from incarceration. As the first and only plant-based creamery in the DMV, Cajou Creamery’s hand-crafted, chef-curated, and small-batch ice cream will leave you wanting more! Cajou serves customers Thursday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
